What is Manual Osteopathy?
Manual Osteopathy is a holistic form of healing that uses gentle non invasive techniques to release or remove your pain, quite often with only a few treatments. The body is looked at as a whole functioning unit. The treatment needed for your issues may be coming from somewhere else in the body not just the area of pain or discomfort.
A Manual Osteopath, Finds it and Fixes it, which lets the body heal efficiently.
The 4 main techniques used are:
-
Osteo-articulation
-
Visceral Manipulation
-
Craniosacral Therapy
-

What to expetct during a treatment?
For most treatments you will be clothed. We start with an intake of your history, what is currently your area of issue, then an assessment of movement and a discussion of what you are feeling. You may be asked to stand, sit or lay down or any combination. We will have a continual conversation of what you are feeling throughout the whole treatment. Each treatment is tailored to what YOUR body needs.
